    Nature of Requirements: 
    Amendment 001 of the Request for Standing Offer is raised to
    extend the closing date of the Request for Standing Offer from
    March 6th, 2014 to March 13th, 2014 and to make modifications.
    
    All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the
    same.
    
    A proposal already submitted may be amended prior to closing
    time by sending the amended correspondence to Bid Receiving, the
    envelope/fax bearing the Request for Standing Offer No.
    21C31-143451/A and the closing date of March 13th, 2014.
    
    Corrections Canada (CORCAN) has a requirement for 50% cotton /
    50% polyester blue interlock fabric with all items stained
    together for delivery to CORCAN in Drummondville, Quebec. One
    Regional Individual Standing Offer may result from this Request
    for Standing Offer. Firm unit prices for the material is
    required for a one year period with estimated annual quantities
    of 55,000 metres of double knit tubular 32"; 20,000 units of
    collar 31/2 inches x 15 inches; 20,000 units of collar 31/2
    inches x 17 inches; and 2,400 meters of rib knit 1 x 1 tubular
    27" per year.  Firm unit prices are mandatory for year one and
    two extension years.  
    
    Pre-award samples and positive laboratory test results are
    mandatory upon PWGSC's request.  All items are to be in
    accordance with purchase descriptions supplied in the RFSO.
    
    No sealed samples are available for viewing in the PWGSC
    regional offices.
    
    Canadian Content Policy:  This requirement is subject to the
    Canadian Content Policy and is Conditionally  Limited to
    Canadian Goods as defined in clause K4000D Canadian Content
    Definition.
    
    Enquiries:  To ensure a response before the bid closing date,
    all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in
    writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven
    (7) calendar days prior to the closing date.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
