Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: If 3+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Requirement: Item 1: Requested Make & Model: CTOMSTM 2nd LineTM Medical Backpack System or EQUIVALENT Manufacturer: CTOMS Inc. Item 2: Requested P/N 64300 Forceps or EQUIVALENT Manufacturer: CTOMS Inc. The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for 24 heavy duty backpack-style equipment bags and 18 forceps for medical and critical care use during training and operations. Due to the variety of environments and conditions, the required bags must be a system of two separate modular packs that can be integrated into one with multiple carrying methods and configuration. The medical bag system must meet the requirements detailed in the Statement of Work dated April 4, 2012 and must include all components listed below. All components must be from the same manufacturer. (a) Quantity one (1) Main Pack , Gen II, part number 64020 or equivalent; (b) Quantity one (1) External Module, Gen II, part number 64029 or equivalent; (c) Quantity one (1) Pack to Armor Rapid Interface System, part number 64060 or equivalent; (d) Quantity three (3) Book Folders, part number 69015 or equivalent; (e) Quantity one (1) Quad Fold Pouch, part number 69014 or equivalent; (f) Quantity four (4) Modular Adjustable Retention System (MARS), Gen III Panel, part number 69003 or equivalent; and (g) Quantity one (1) Glow Label Kit, part number 64105 or equivalent. Option: This requirement also includes an option to purchase additional quantities exercisable for a period of 18 months from the date of contract award. Backpack System: The option may be exercised for a minimum quantity of 12 backpack systems up to a maximum of 24. Forceps: The option may be exercised for a minimum quantity of 9 units up to a maximum of 18 units. Delivery: Items are to be delivered to Richmond, Ontario and Petawawa, Ontario. It is requested that the complete quantity be delivered by September 15, 2012. Canadian Content - Conditionally Limited If 3 + bids offer Canadian goods, other bids will not be considered.
