    REQUIREMENT
    Transport Canada has a requirement for Aviation Accessories (sheepskin, leather and carpet).  The items will be used in aircrafts for upholstery applications.
    
    Item 1: Sheepskin - quantity 48 units
    Flammability: Must meet FAR 25.853(a), 12 second Vertical Burn test requirements.
    
    Item 2: Leather hide - quantity 120 units
    Must be fully fire retardant and certified to conform with airworthiness specifications.
    
    Item 3:  Carpet - quantity 2 rolls 
    Fire Rating:   ASTME648 (Critical Radiant Flux) Class 1 Exceeds  0/45 watts/cm2

    DELIVERY:
    Delivery of all the items is requested complete 60 calendar days from approval of the pre-production samples.
    
    
    SAMPLES:
    Samples and a laboratory analysis must be submitted after the closing date and within 15 calendar days of the date of the contracting authority's request.
    
    
    CONTRACT FINANCIAL SECURITY:
    If the bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide contract financial security in the amount of up to ten percent (10%) of the contract price.

    To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
