Amendment 001 is raised to extend the bid closing date to January 31, 2020, 2:00 pm.

REQUIREMENT:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Soft Body Armour, Carrier, Internal, Flat Panels in accordance with the RCMP specification G.S. 1045-333 dated 2019-07-25, and Soft Body Armour, Carrier, Internal, Female Panels in accordance with the RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-369 dated 2019-07-25, patterns and viewing samples.

FIRM QUANTITY:
Flat Panels - 10,000 units

"AS & WHEN REQUESTED" QUANTITY
The requirement includes an estimated quantity which may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 48 months from the effective date of the contract.  Canada is not obliged to request any such goods and the quantity of "as and when requested" goods is only an approximation of requirements.

OPTIONS
The requirement also includes four (4) options to purchase an additional quantity.

PRE-AWARD SAMPLES AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
Pre-award samples, component samples, along with supporting documentation (Certificates of Compliance, laboratory test report and Material Data Sheet) will be requested after the bid closing from the lowest bidders.

VIEWING SAMPLES:
Viewing samples will be provided to bidders who are requested to provide pre-award samples after bid closing.  

CONTRACT FINANCIAL SECURITY:
If bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide contract financial security in the amount of up to ten percent (10%) of the contract price. 

CANADIAN CONTENT POLCY:
This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and is solely limited to Canadian origin goods.
