Amendment 001 is raised to delete the initial Notice of Proposed Procurement in its entirety and replace with the following:

REQUIREMENT:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a urgent requirement for Rifle Plates, General Duty. The rifle plates must be made in accordance with the RCMP specification G.S. 1045-330C dated 2019-12-17.

FIRM QUANTITY: 1,000 sets 

ESTIMATED QUANTITY ("AS & WHEN REQUESTED"):
This requirement also includes an estimated quantity of 2,000 sets. The estimated quantity may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 12 months from the effective date of the contract.  Canada is not obliged to request any such goods and the quantity of "as and when requested" goods is only an approximation of requirements.

PRE-AWARD SAMPLES AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
Pre-award samples and supporting documentation must be submitted at the date and time of bid closing and at the location indicated in the Request for Proposal.

VIEWING SAMPLE:
There is no viewing sample available.

CONTRACT FINANCIAL SECURITY:
If bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide contract financial security in the amount of up to ten percent (10%) of the contract price.

To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
