RFI - Optical Supplies and Services

This is not a bid solicitation.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
the Department of National Defence (DND) intends to establish a
method of supply for optical supplies and services at all
Canadian Forces Bases across Canada. The requirement includes,
but is not limited to, providing prescribed optical supplies for
eye care requirements, and the maintenance, fitting and repair
of spectacles. The requirement also includes the services of
licensed opticians. DND is considering including optometry
services as part of this requirement.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to provide
industry with an early opportunity to comment on DND's
requirement for optical supplies and services. This feedback
will assist Canada in ensuring that its requirements are in line
with industry standards.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
