    The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans for the installation of a new HVAC system in the welding lab at the Canadian Coast Guard College, including dust collector,fans and ductwork.

    All elements of the work must be completed on or before March 24, 2017.
    
    Optional Site Visit
    There will be a site visit on Monday, February 6, 2017 beginningat 10:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Canadian Coast Guard College, Alert Building, Main Security Desk, 1190 Westmount Road, Westmount, NS 15 minutes prior to start of visit.
     
    The representative of the bidder will be required to show photo ID and to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority, ValerieMatheson at 902-496-5100 or by email at Valerie.matheson@pwgsc.gc.ca no later than February 3, 2017 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.If no bidders confirm by February 3, 2017 to visit the work site the scheduled site visit opportunity will be cancelled.  Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.  
    
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    It is recommended that the bidders attend the site visit at the designated date and time to examine the scope of the work required and the existing conditions. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the site.

    Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
    
    The estimated cost of thisprocurement is between $101,000.00 and $250,000.00
