Public Works and Governement Services Canada has a requirement
fot the removal and disposal of existing glazing and curtainwall
system on two sides of the Canadian Firearms Centre Building
located in Miramichi, NB. Also included is the replacement of a
number of punched windows at various locations around the
building.


All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications for PWGSC Project Numbers R.064575.001 forming
part of the bid document. The contract completion is twenty (20)
weeks after contract award.

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work
required and the existing conditions. There will be an optional
site visit on March 18, 2015 at 4:30 pm. All interested bidders
are to meet at  the Canadian Firearms Centre Building located t
171 Duke Street, Miramichi, New Brunswick. Although not
mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this
work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all
aspects of the work. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents require attention. 

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 421, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B. 

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $500,001 - $1,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and
contract security for construction is required.
