Work under this contract includes the replacement of exterior cladding on the Moncton Government of Canada Building, including the replacement of the lower roof and associated skylight.
All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.067623.001 forming part of the bid document. The contract completion date is one hundred and eight (108) weeks from date of award.

Site of Work is at: Moncton GOCB Annex, 1081 Main St., Moncton, N.B.

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications includedin the solicitation documents requires attention. 

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category:$8,500,001- $9,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.


OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions.  There will be an optional site visit September 20, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.  All interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the Moncton GOCB, 1045 Main Street, Monctpn, NB.  Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. 

There is a security clearance required to attend this site visit.  ALL interested bidders must submit the full name(s), home address(es) and date(s) of birth of the person(s) who will attend to the Contracting Authority, Alison Ellis-Herring, by fax at (506) 636-4376 or e-mail alison.ellis-herring@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca by 9:00 hours, September 19, 2016.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment tothe bid solicitation.  Please note that this will be the only site visit for this project.  No other site visits will be arranged during the tender period.
