Rehabilitation Kitchen Shelters and Service Buildings, Fundy National Park, Alma, N.B.

Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for a contract, which consists of but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:
.1 Demolition and modifications to existing floor layouts, new construction including new roofs, new flooring, new interior and exterior finishes, new doors and windows, new millwork and accessories.
.2 Sawcutting of existing concrete floor slabs as required for changes to floor slopes particularly in the shower stall areas and for changes to underslab plumbing. Also including backfill, compaction and reinstatement of concrete floors.
.3 Lowering of grade in some areas surrounding buildings to provide 200mm clearance to any wood components. Slope grade away and restore surface to match surrounding areas.
.4 Demolition, modifications to and new construction of Electrical and Mechanical servicing.
 The work location is Fundy National Park, Alma, New Brunswick. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.087629.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by December 20, 2019.

There will be an optional site visit on May 27, 2019 at 10:00 am. All interested bidders are to meet at the Fundy Park Chalet Road (across from the playground), Fundy National Park, Alma, N.B.  Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: greater than $1,000,001 - $5,000,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, 126 Prince William Street, Saint John, NB.
