    NOTICE OF OPTIONAL  SITE VISIT
    
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site.  
    
    The site visit will be held on Tuesday,  April 9, 2013 at 9:00am
    .  Contractors are asked to meet at the Main Gate, CFB Gagetown,
    New Brunswick.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
    Authority 2 day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm
    attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
    attend.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. 
    Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
    given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded
    from submitting a bid.
    
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
    from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
    solicitation.

    Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the
    furnishing of all labour, material, tools, supervision, and
    equipment required to cut grass as shown on drawings
    for the following areas:
    .1 	Vimy, Amiens, Mons, Reichwald, and Batouche Rifle Ranges;
    .2 	Three 50 meters Ranges; and
    .3 	ASA Compound located on the Shirley Road within the Training
    Area.
    
    All work is to be completed in accordance with the Specification
    Number L-G2/9301/216 forming part of the bid document.  
    
    The Service Contract is from award to March 31, 2014, with an
    option to renew for two additional one year period.
    
    The estimated cost (including option years) for this
    opportunity, is within the following cost category:  $100,001 -
    $250,000.
    
    IMPORTANT NOTICE:  New measures related to Code of Conduct and
    certifications included in the solicitation documents requires
    attention.
