    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the training wall reconstruction of structure 401 in Miller Brook, New Brunswick.  The work includes, but not limited to the following:  
    
    .1 The complete removal of existing treated timber cribwork structure to limits as shown on drawings to permit new work. This will include treated timber wheelguard and chocks, treated timber cribwork, rock ballast, timber ladders c/w all fasteners, holdfasts, power pole and all items that interfere with the new work as required.
    .2 Excavate all necessary above and underwater material and temporary removal of necessary adjacent breakwater rock materials to permit new work.
    .3 Reconstruct the rock breakwater as shown on drawings.
    .4 The existing rock ballast and armour stone protection will be recycled as core, filter or armourstone depending on dimensions and weight.
    .5 The transportation and proper disposal of un-recyclable treated timber materials to an approved regional land fill site.
    .6 The supply and installation of steel H-piles and miscellaneous steel.
    .7 The supply and installation of new concrete beams and deck, retaining wall, miscellaneous steel as shown and treated timber wheelguard to complete the work.
    .8 Supply and installation of granular backfill, filter and armour stone, filter fabric, ladder and holdfasts as shown on drawings.
    .9 Carry out work as per Environmental requirements.
    .10 Supply and installation of a floating boom/silt curtain surrounding the work area during work.
     
    All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.075620.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor shall complete all the work by 
    
    New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
    
    The estimated cost forthis opportunityis within the following cost category: $750,001 to $1,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.
    
    A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John,N.B.

    and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
