The work required but is not limited to: Placing a floating silt boom, full length of construction limits; Supply and place Type 1 Fill (Premium Borrow); Supply and place New Type 3 Fill (200-400kg Outer Filterstone); Supply and place New Type 3 Fill (20-40kg inner Filterstone); Supply and place geotextile materials; Supply and place surface gravel (100mm thickness)for new service area. Fine grade to final grades. All work to be carried out in accordance with the requirements of these specifications and drawings, construction schedule and time and order of completion. Site of Work is at: Beach Point Wharf, King's County, Prince Edward Island The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $250,001 - $500,000. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within eight (8) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project Number R.064499.001 forming part of the bid document. Standard bid and contract security for construction is required. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering Service. Addenda, when issued, will be available from GETS. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services and may be viewed on the GETS electronic bulletin board as part of the information module. "IMPORTANT NOTICE: New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation documents requires attention."
