    Request for Proposal - One Phase - Chiller Replacement, Joseph A

    Project Number: R.055258.001 - Public Works & Government
    Services Canada has a requirement for a one phase, Request for
    Proposal for services required for the replacement of existing
    chillers and cooling towers at the Joseph A Ghiz Building .  The
    proponent shall be a Mechanical and/or Electrical engineer,
    licensed, to provide the necessary professional services to the
    full extent that may be required by provincial or territorial
    law in the Province of Prince Edward Island.
    
    The consultant team to be identified must include the following: 
    Proponent (prime consultant) - Mechanical
    Key Sub-consultant/specialists - Electrical and commissioning.
    
    Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using
    the total score established as follows:
    Technical Rating x 90% = Technical Score (Points)
    Price Rating x 10% = Price Score (Points)
    Total Score = 100%
    
    Schedule:
    
    100% Design Documents ready for tender is scheduled for 14 weeks
    from award.
    
    Construction Estimate:
    
    The preliminary construction estimate for this project is
    $1,500,000   ($1.5 Million) (HST extra).
    Optional Site Visit
    It is recommended that the Proponent or a representative of the
    Proponent visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work
    required and the existing conditions. . 
    There is no scheduled site visit, as part of the area of work is
    on the outside of the building and the remainder is the
    mechanical spaces under the control of PWGSC and visits can be
    arranged if required.
    Although not mandatory, all consultants wishing to submit a
    proposal for this work are encouraged to attend to become
    familiar with all aspects of the work. Proponents who do not
    attend or send a representative will not be precluded from
    submitting a proposal.  Any clarifications or changes to the
    Request for Proposal resulting from the site visit will be
    included as an amendment to the Request for Proposal.
    
    There are no Security Requirements for this Request for
    Proposal.

    Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

    responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
    intention to bid.

    incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and
    contract documents.  The standard documents are issued by Public
    Works and Government Services and may be viewed on the GETS
    electronic bulletin board as part of the information module.
    
    "IMPORTANT NOTICE:  New measures related to Code of Conduct and
    certifications included in the solicitation documents requires
