Request for Standing Offer for  Geotechnical Services, Various
Locations, NL

Public Works & Government Services Canada has a requirement to
establish and Regional Individual Standing Offer for
Geotechnical Services in Various Locations across Newfoundland
and Labrador.

Supply and operation of drilling equipment, supervision of
drilling operations, and preparation of factual reports for
proposed marine facilities throughout NL.  Specifically four (4)
regions: Eastern Newfoudland, Central Newfoundland, Western
Newfoundland and Labrador.  Bidder has the option to bid on one,
two, three, or all four specified regions.

The term for the standing offer is for 2 years, on an "as and
when required basis". A standing offer is an agreement and  not
a contract.  The Crown reserves the right to award to more than
one contractor.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO BIDDERS:

With the introduction of the new Government Electronic Tendering
Service (GETS III), there are significant changes to Public
Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) solicitations.

Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of solicitation
forms, special instructions, and specifications which are now
available directly from the MERX site. Bidders will arrange to
print the documents they require at a printer of their choice or
on their own equipment.  Addenda, when issued, will be available
from the MERX service provider.  It is the responsibility of the
Bidder to ensure that all addenda issued prior to solicitation
closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted offer.
