    Project Title:  Pembroke, ON - South Wall Rehabilitation
    
    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Contracting, on behalf of Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours, has a requirement at the Pembroke marina for rehabilitation of the south wall in Pembroke, Ontario.
    
    The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the south basin wall at the Pembroke marina. The marina is located on the Ottawa River, in Pembroke, approximately 150 kilometres north-west of Ottawa. 
    
    The work consists of, but not limited to, the following:
    
    1.Encapsulating the existing steel sheet pile basin wall with a new steel sheet pile wall
    2.Installing new safety ladders
    3.Installing a new steel mooring system
    4.Installing a new chain link fence along south wall 
    5.Modifying the existing water supply lines to account for new wall offset 
    6.New asphalt walking path behind the wall may be installed 
    
    Site Visit
    There is no site visit scheduled for this project. The site is open, bidders can independently access the site to assess the conditions.
    
    Construction Time
    The Contractor must start Work on site the 21st October 2019 and be completed within (19) weeks from this date. 
    
    Work Restrictions
    1.The gangways and floating docks connected to the South Basin Wall will be removed the week following Thanksgiving weekend October 2019.
    2.The Contractor shall not commence construction prior to October 21st, 2019.       
    
    Mandatory Requirements
    Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document.Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the bid.
    
    Any changes or clarifications will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
