    SCOPE OF SERVICES:
    
    Transport Canada (TC) is the Government of Canada department
    responsible for the Detroit River International Crossing (DRIC)
    project (also known as the New International Trade Crossing), a
    proposed new international crossing from Windsor, Ontario,
    Canada to Detroit, Michigan, United States (U.S.). Public Works
    and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of Transport
    Canada, intends to retain a Civil Municipal Engineering firm
    with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and specialists for
    the provision of the services required for this project -
    detailed design, produce tender ready construction documents and
    provide civil engineering services to design the perimeter
    access road and provide utility coordination services for the
    relocation of various utilities.
    
    RFP DETAILS:
    
    This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a One-Phase process,
    Proponents responding to this RFP are requested to submit only
    one proposal. Proposals are to cover the Achievements of
    Proponent's on Projects,  the Achievements of Key
    Sub-Consultants / Specialists on Projects, the Achievements of
    Key Personnel on Projects,  Understanding of the Project, Scope
    of Services, Management of Services, Design
    Philosophy/Approach/Methodology and pricing. The Proponent whose
    responsive proposal achieves the highest total score is the
    first entity that the Evaluation Board will recommend be
    approached in order to finalize details of an agreement for the
    provision of the required services.
    
    The purpose is to select the highest ranked experienced firm of
    consultants, sub-consultants and specialists to provide full
    engineering services required for this project.
    
    ESTIMATED CONTRACT VALUE:
    
    The estimated cost for Phase I of this opportunity is within the
    following range: $1,000,000.00 and $1,500,000.00 (HST excluded).

    Amendments, when issued, will be available from GETS. In all
    cases proponents must indicate in the space provided on the
    Proposal Form the identification number(s) of the amendment(s),
    if any, that they have taken into consideration for their
    proposal.
