Project work will be phased with schedule requirements and completion dates identified in the specification. First phase is completion of all work associated with floor H1 by 15 Sep 2013. Overall project completion scheduled for 28 Feb 2015. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS Refer to the Special Instructions to Bidders SI01 paragraph 3 (and Appendices 1 and 2) for requirements related to the Code of Conduct for Procurement. MANDATORY SITE VISIT: There will be a mandatory site visit on Wednesday 05 June 2013 at 11:00AM (for sign in and security), Job showing starts at 11:30AM. Due to security considerations bidders must register before 10:00 am on 04 June 2013 to confirm attendance and provide names(s) and the number of people who will attend. Bidders who do not register for the job showing will not be permitted entry into the institution. Interested bidders are to meet at Main Pedestrian Entrance (I.D. Bldg), Millhaven Institution, Correctional Service Canada, Box 280, Hwy 33, Bath ON, K0H 1G0 The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit attendance sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted. Bidders must register with the Contracting Officer, Bob Hassell at 416-590-8270 or email bob.hassell@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Closing date: 27 June 2013, 14:00 HOURS The first phase of the work is scheduled for completion 13 weeks from date of award, which is the completion of all work associated with floor H1. Overall project completion is scheduled for 28 February 2015. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: Between $2,500,000.00 and $3,500,000.00 (HST extra).
