Scope of Work
The proposed work comprises of the demolition, removal and disposal of a 2 storey wood frame and concrete block building located at 498 Eastern Avenue in Toronto, Ontario. As part of the building demolition, the removal and disposal of all designated substances and hazardous materials with accordance to regulatory requirements is also required. Rough grading of the property shall be completed after the demolition, removal and disposal of all components present in the property.   

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
An Optional site visit will be held on November 8, 2016 at 10:00 am. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendees. Please contact the Contracting Officer, Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at the site, 498 Eastern Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
 
Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will notbe given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Weeks to Complete
The duration of work is 5 (five) weeks from issuance of Award Letter.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canadawill inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
