Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / CPTPP / NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Whistlers Campground Upgrades 5P423-180931/A Espedido, Kae A/Procurement Specialist Western - RPC (Real Property Contracting) Telephone: (780) 231-4719 Fax: (780) 497-3510 Project # 727 Whistler’s Campground, in Jasper National Park (Alberta), is the largest campground in the National Parks and is due for major upgrades to bring the campground up to current standards. Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Parks Canada Agency (PCA), is seeking tenders for demolition of 31 buildings (washroom buildings, shower buildings and other kiosks), the construction of 18 new shower/washroom buildings, a new registration building and parking lot, and upgrades to all the utilities in the campground (water, sewer, and electrical). It will also include widening and resurfacing (asphalt and gravel) of the access, circulation, and loop roads in the campground. There will also be some campsite rehabilitation work associated with the contract. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated over & above $5,000,001 MANDATORY SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Interested bidders are to meet at the Lower Admin Boardroom - Jasper Train Station (607 Connaught Drive, Jasper, AB T0E 1E0). The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected. Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF). Tenderers should note that attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
