    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is seeking
    tenders for the provision of all materials, equipment, labour
    and supervision for the upgrade of fire code deficiencies in the
    Government of Canada Building in Inuvik, NT. Work comprises of
    renovating stairs & railings, modifications to some doors and
    windows, installing exit lighting, also some minor sprinkler and
    fire alarm work as detailed in the specifications, drawings and
    Invitation to Tender documents. 
    
    Aboriginal Benefits Evaluation
    The Contractor has the ability to receive evaluation deductions
    through the provision of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement &
    Gwich'in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement involvement in their
    proposal.  A reduction of up to 10% may be applied to the total
    assessed bid price based on the provision of proof that your
    organization or service provided meets the criteria stated in
    Aboriginal Benefits.
    
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
    paper version.  Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
    contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
    consist of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
    directory structure.

    For further instructions please consult "Special Instruction to
    Bidders", SI10, "Security related requirements" and
    "Supplementary Conditions" SC01 "Security related requirements,
    document safeguarding location".
    
    NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a site visit on September 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM.
    Interested bidders are to meet at Invik Government of Canada
    Building, 187 Mackenzie Road,  Inuvik, NWT X0E 0T0
    
    The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the
    Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. 
    
    
    Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form.  
    
    This PWGSC Office provides procurement services to the public in
    English.
