Grassland National Park Firehall Replacement, Parks Canada Agency, SK

Grasslands National Park requires a heated, fully functional firehall facility meeting current building code and occupation health and safety requirements for year round operation.The firehall facility will include a maintenance bay and workshop area. The user department for this facility is Parks Canada Agency (PCA).

The site is located in the village of Val Marie, Saskatchewan around 120 km south of Swift Current SK via SK-4S. The site area is 32 hectre and primarily is green field. However, the area on which the proposed building will be built has been previously developed. The site characteristics are that it is gently slopped, clayey soil and has high water table.

Contract Completion: 40 weeks from date of Contract award 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

There will be a site visit on July 14, 2016 at 12:00 PM.  Interested bidders are to meet at Parks Canada Southern Field Unit Office, Val Marie, Saskatchewan, approximately 120 km south of Swift Current, SK via SK-4S.  Bidders are asked to meet in front of the existing Office building.  Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site.  Noexceptions will be made.
