    Work Description:
    .1	Work of this Contract comprises of abrasive blast cleaning
    each channel, power washing each channel, repairing damaged
    concrete, routing and filling all cracks in the concrete,
    filling eroded concrete surfaces, repairing and rebuilding
    expansion joints, provide treatment to all embedded metalwork in
    channels and coating the ponds after filling to resurface four
    (4) rearing channels #4 to #7 including head tanks at upstream
    and common attraction channel at downstream; keeper channels in
    buildings #4 and #5, total twelve (12) channels, including
    release channels; keeper channels in Building #2, total five (5)
    channels; keeper channels in Building #3, total six (6)
    channels; three (3) inlet and three (3) outlet structures of
    rearing channels #1 to #3; one (1) Aeration Tower #2 Reservoir -
    inside only using an epoxy based resurfacing system.
    
    .2	Scope of Work:
    	.1	Abrasive blast clean each channel
    	.2	Power wash each channel
    	.3	Repair Damaged concrete
    	.4	Grout and fill all cracks in the concrete
    	.5	Fill the eroded concrete surfaces
    	.6	Repair and rebuild the expansion joints
    	.7	Coat the ponds after filling
    
    .3	This is an operating hatchery production hatchery that must
    remain operational during the entire construction project. 
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
    of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
    be completed by Octobe 31, 2012.
    
    Site Visit
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
    submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or
    investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
    the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    There will be a site visit on March 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. local
    time. Interested bidders are to meet at Robertson Creek hatchery.
    
    
    
    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
    is estimated to cost between 
    $600,000.00 - $700,000.00.
    
    Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
    tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
    provider. Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
    service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
    (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
    their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
    tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all
    cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
    provided on the tender form the identification number(s) of the
    addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
    their bid.

    public in English.
