Work Description:
Work under this Contract comprises, but is not limited to, the
provisions of all labour, materials, service and equipment
necessary for the infrastructural work for the growth chamber
replacement at Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre, Summerland,
BC, influding demolition and construction work at level 2, as
fully described in the Tender Documents. The installation and
commissioning of the growth chambers will be done in
coordination with the growth chamber contractor. The growth
cahmber contractor is contracted under a separate contract by
the owner.

Site Visit:
Bidders are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. 

A site visit will be held on the following date and time:

Location:   Bidders are to meet at the Pacific Agri-Food
Research Centre located at 4200 97 Highway, South Summerland,
B.C. Bidders are to meet at the main lobby security desk. Free
parking is available. 

Instructions: Interested bidders are required to provide their
name(s) and company names to Tian Lam at
tian.lam@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca no later than 24 hours prior to the
site visit. 

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within
twenty-four [24] weeks from the date of notification of
acceptance of the offer.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost around 
$650,000 to $900,000.
