Work Description:
Work under this standing offer cover the supply of all labour, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to carry out general construction work, repairs, alterations, and additions on an as and when requested basis by Department of National Defence, 19 Wing Comox, in Lazo, BC during the specified periods.  

Period of Standing Offer:
The period for placing call-ups against the Standing Offer shall be for three (3) years commencing from the date of the Standing Offer. 

PWGSC will also hold a two (2) irrevocable options to extend the Standing Offer by up to two (2) additional consecutive twelve (12) month periods under the same conditions. It is to be noted that Canada is not obliged to exercise any of these two (2) options. The exercise of any option will be at Canada's sole discretion, by providing notification in writing to the Contractor at least sixty (60) days prior to the Contract expiry date or the expiry date of an exercised option period.

Estimated value:
The total dollar value of all Standing Offers, for the three (3) year period, is estimated to be $1,800,000.00 (GST or HST extra). Offerors should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the Standing Offers will be called-up; call-ups will only be issued when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed. 

THIS STANDING OFFER CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT: 
1. The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

2. The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid personnel security screening at the level of SECRET or RELIABILITY Status, as required granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.

3. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.

Optional Site Visit:
Offerors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

Instructions: Interested offerors are required to provide their name(s) to Tian Lam at tian.lam@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca no later than 24 hours prior to the site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Offerors may be requested to sign an attendance form.
