Bougie Creek Slide Stabilization

Location: 
Km 356.7 to km 358.2, Alaska Highway, BC

Work Description: 
Theproject comprises of clearing designated areas along “Right of Way” and stockpile sites; excavating, loading, hauling, and stockpiling waste material.

-Excavate the left side ditch and back slope from km 356.7 to km 357.2 (West side of the highway). 
-Excavate the right side ditch and back slope from km 357.2 to km 358.2 (East side of the highway).
-Stockpile materials in locations directed by Departmental Representative

Fort St. John is located at km 80; Fort Nelson is located at km 455 on theAlaska Hwy, BC.

Site Visit: 
There will be NO SCHEDULED SITE VISIT.  However, contractors are encouraged to view the site on their own.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March 15, 2017.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
$550,000 to $575,000.
