    Due to the remoteness and the location of the PSPC operated section of the Alaska Highway which passes through the traditional territories of the First Nations belonging to the Treaty 8 Tribal Association (primarily the southern section of the Highway) as well as the traditional territories of the First Nations belonging to the Daylu Dena Council (primarily the northern section of the Highway), bidders are encouraged to employ the available local workforce and utilize other locally available resources and equipment.     Work Description: 
    The Work comprises of, but is not limited to loading, hauling and stockpiling Pit Run aggregates for future crushing at KM 509 of Alaska Highway. Crushing and stockpiling current stockpile of gravel/pit run to 12.5 mm B.S.T. Aggregate at KM 698.1 of Alaska Highway. Supply crawler tractor complete with ripper and 260-359 FWHP for the pushing and leveling of pit floor to recover existing crushed material for future use.
      
    Fort Nelson is located at KM 455 on the Alaska Highway, BC.  Drawing R.017173.215/244-01 shows the pit location and quantities.
    
    Site Visit: 
    There will be no scheduled site visit.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March 20, 2018.

    To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $700,000.00 and $800,000.00.
