Work Description: 
Work comprises of HVAC cleaning for various buildings located at 19 Wing Comox, Lazo, BC. There are over thirty (30) buildings that may require cleaning over the duration of the Agreement on an as and when required basis.

The Contractor will supply all labour, tools, material, equipment and transportation necessary to provide power vacuuming of building ventilations systems, primarily, warm air heating systems and cool air exhausts.

Work Not Included:
Cleaning of motors and electrical connections.
Kitchen exhaust systems (commonly known as "grease lines").
Installation of additional access panels, alterations, or modifications unless agreed upon by the Engineer.

This Standing Offer shall be for a 3 year period plus two one year option periods.

The total dollar value of the Standing Offer is estimated to be $300,000.00 (Applicable Taxes included).  Individual call-ups will vary, up to a maximum of $60,000.00 (Applicable Taxes included). Proponents should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the Standing Offer will be called-up; DND will issue call-ups only when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are required.

Site Visit: 
Contractors are recommended to make inquiries necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the nature and extent of the work.

There is NO SCHEDULED SITE VISIT for this solicitation.

THIS STANDING OFFER CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
 
Delivery Date: 
It is PWGSC's intention to authorize one (1) standing offer for a period of 3 years with two one year option periods.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
