    IMPORTANT NOTICE:

    Due to the remoteness and the location of the PSPC operated section of the Alaska Highway which passes through the traditional territories of the First Nations belonging to the Treaty 8 Tribal Association (primarily the southern section of the Highway) as well as the traditional territories of the First Nations belonging to the Daylu Dena Council (primarily the northern section of the Highway), bidders are encouraged to employ the available local workforce and utilize other locally available resources and equipment.

    Work Description:
    Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to:
    1: Pulverizing bituminous surface treatment and base course material.
    2: Blending, shaping and compacting pulverized material.
    3: Applying bituminous surface treatment.
    
    Material for BST Aggregate will come from KM 554.0, KM 579.8, KM 615.0, KM 637.3, KM 678.6 and KM 698.1.
    
    Work is located between KM 548.9 and KM 700 on the Alaska Highway.
    
    Site Visit: 
    There is NO SITE VISIT scheduled for this solicitation.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the work by September 15, 2020.
    
    
    Value of Project: 
    To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $1,000,001.00 and $5,000,000.00
