Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Muncho Lake Camp Site Remediation EZ897-190539/A Park (PWY), Isabell Telephone No. - (604) 365-0073 ( ) Fax No. - (604) 775-6633 ( ) Title: Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp Remediation Location: Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp KM 698 Alaska Highway, BC Work Description: Work under the Contract covers Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp remediation including excavation, transport and disposal of contaminated and non-contaminated material and waste as well as Hydrogen Peroxide Injection. Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items: - Site Preparation - Contaminated Water Treatment Plant operation - New Garage Foundation Construction - Excavation - Contaminated Material and Overburden, Slope Material - Waste Oversize Debris Removal - Backfill excavation with clean imported fill material. - Contaminated Material and Non-Contaminated Material - transport to offsite, disposal - Borehole Advancement and Monitoring Well Installation - Hydrogen Peroxide Injection - Site Restoration - Demobilization OPTIONAL Site Visit: Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp, 698km of Alaska Highway on 05 July 2018. The site visit will begin at 16:30 PDT, Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp Site Entrance. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Delivery Date: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed by no later than November 15, 2018. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $7,000,000.00 and $7,400,000.00 Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. This procurement office provides procurement services to the public in English. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
