SCOPE OF WORK
The work under this standing offer comprises the furnishing of all labour, materials, equipment and supervision required to perform sheet metal (duct work) repairs and replacement, including supply and installation of HVAC air handling equipment as may be required by the Wing Construction Engineering Officer at Canadian Forces Base Comox, Lazo, B.C.

The contractor must supply all necessary tools and equipment required to complete the work. Technical direction is the responsibility of the Wing Construction Engineering Officer and/or his representative.

Sheet Metal, HVAC and Gasfitter Journeyman working under this contract must hold a current and valid ticket with a Red Seal, Inter Provincial or BC designation. Copy of all valid certification are mandatory. Trades helper can be a laborer but must be skilled in the work being performed and supervised by a fully qualified Journeyman.

Period of Standing Offer:
The period for placing call-ups against the Standing Offer shall be for 
three (3) years commencing from the start date identified on the Standing Offer, plus two (2) irrevocable option to extend the term of the Standing Offer for an ADDITIONAL CONSECUTIVE TWELVE (12) MONTH PERIOD, under the same terms and conditions as contained in the Standing Offer. 

THIS STANDING OFFER CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the 
Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at 
the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

Firms that elect to base their proposal on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority on their intention to bid.
