    Regional Psychiatric Centre - Assiniboine Unit Redevelopment,
    Saskatoon, SK
    
    Upgrade and renovation of the existing Assiniboine Unit, at the
    Regional Psychiatric Centre (RPC) in Saskatoon, Sask.   The
    renovation includes minor Architectural, Mechanical and
    Electrical upgrades to the existing building and the addition of
    a new secure exterior courtyard with traditional, cultural
    program areas for approximately 750sm of interior space and
    300sm of exterior courtyard space, as detailed in the drawings
    and specifications.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  It recommended that the Bidder or a
    representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements
    have been made for a tour of the work site. An Optional site
    visit will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:30PM
    (1330hrs).  Interested bidders MUST REGISTER with the
    Contracting Authority no later than Wednesday, December 12, 2012
    Noon (1200hrs) CST. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend
    at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative
    appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.
    
    Please note that participation on the optional site visit
    requires institute clearance prior to the tour. Upon
    registration for the  site visit with the Contracting Authority,
    instructions and applications for institute access, CPIC forms
    will be provided and must be completed and submitted per
    instructions no later than Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 4:00pm
    (1600hrs) CST.  No admittance for the site visit will be
    permitted without the required clearance from the institution.
    
    Bidders who do not confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of
    the person(s) who will attend as required will not be allowed
    access to the site.  Bidders will be requested to sign an
    attendance form.  Bidders who do not attend or send a
    representative will not be given an alternative appointment but
    they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.  Any
    clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
    the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
    solicitation.
    
    Tenderers are responsible for obtaining copies of tender forms
    and special instructions which are available directly from the
    MERX site.
    
    It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to ensure that all
    addenda issued prior to tender closing have been obtained and
    addressed in the submitted tender.
