    This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number EV385-160931/A dated 2015-10-02 with a closing of 2015-10-28 at 02:00 PM CDT. A feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain the services of a Construction Manager (CM) to provide advisory and general contractor services for the Fort Walsh Visitor Reception Centre Renewal 
    
    project, as more fully described in the Terms of Reference (TOR).
    
    The Fort Walsh Visitor Reception Centre (VRC) located at the Fort Walsh 
    
    
    National Historic Site (55 km southwest of Maple Creek, SK) is in need of extensive renovations and repairs to address health, safety and operational issues (e.g. visitor flow and experience, washroom and storage deficiencies, deterioration of building systems and building envelope); improve energy efficiency and to accommodate a future new heritage interpretive display.

     13.  CM General Construction and Contract AdministrationServices.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT 
    There will be an optional site visit on Wednesday, December 09, 2015 at 
    11:0
    
    0 AM.  Interested bidders are to meet at Fort Walsh Visitor Reception Centre located at the Fort Walsh National Historic Site (55 km
    southwest of Maple Creek, SK) in Southern Saskatchewan. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority three (3) days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name
    (s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site.  No exceptions will be made.
    
    Note: If no Bidder requests are received to attend the site visit, the site visit will be canceled.
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. 
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in 
    
    rejection of your bid.
