Public Works and Government Services Canada (the Crown) intends
to retain the services of an engineering firm acting in the
capacity of Prime Consultant, together with a multi-disciplinary
team of sub-consultants or joint venture, which must be
experienced in providing services as it relates to bridge
inspection services at St. Andrews Lock & Dam, Lockport, MB.

The proponent shall be a firm, licensed, or eligible to be
licensed to provide the necessary professional services to the
full extent that may be required by law in the province of
Manitoba.

The proponent must display in their proposal the required
expertise in Structural engineering inspection services to
undertake the bridge inspection as more fully described in the
Request for Proposal (RFP) document.

This Request for Proposal is a 1 stage, 1 phase selection
process. This means that the proponent must submit all technical
information, and at the same time, they must also submit their
cost proposal in a separate sealed envelope. Ensure that
information related to costs are not included with the technical
portion of the proposal.

This procurement is excluded from the Agreement on Internal
Trade (AIT) in accordance with Annex 502.1B of the agreement
item (1.a.).

This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
English.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
