    Work of this Contract comprises construction of an irrigation system including river intake pumping station, storage reservoir, booster pump station, irrigation piping, hydrants, and appurtenances at the AAFC Brandon Research Centre, Brandon, Manitoba, as more fully described in the Drawings and Specification.
    
    Optional site visit: There will be an optional site visit on August 5, 2016 at 10:30h at the AAFC Brandon Research Centre, 2701 Grand Valley Road, Brandon, Manitoba. Bidders who for any reason cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issuedprior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid.
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejectionof your bid.
