Brandon, Manitoba, Brandon Research and Development Centre, Chiller and Cooling Tower Replacement

Work under this Contract will include, but is not limited to, the following at the Brandon Research and Development Centre, Brandon, Manitoba: the removal of the existing cooling tower, currently installed in a well, and replacement with a new cooling tower installed at grade over the existing well on a new steel structure; the existing chiller and housekeeping pad located within the Mechanical Room is to be removed and replaced with a new modular chiller array complete with a new housekeeping pad; all electrical and controls work required for the new installation and all the condenser water and chiller water piping modifications and strainers installation required for the operation of the chillers and cooling tower is included in the Work; the existing chiller condenser pumps are to be removed and replaced with new chiller condenser pumps; as more fully described in the Drawings and Specification. 

Optional Site Visit
There will be a site visit on October 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Brandon Research and Development Centre. Interested bidders are to meet at the Reception Desk at 2701 Grand Valley Road, Brandon, Manitoba. Photo identification may be requested.

Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, the estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,001 to $1,000,000.
