Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Winnipeg, Manitoba, The WED Relocation project The WED Relocation project will be located on the 4th floor of the Crown owned McDonald building, 344 Edmonton St. in Winnipeg. The project includes a full Fit-up of new office space, the construction of a new common corridor with adjoining vacant space on the 4th floor level and a basement level storage room upgrade. The work includes selective demolitions including remediation work on the existing North wall, reconfiguration of existing infrastructure and new installations on the 4th floor and new installations in the basement storage area. Currently, the MacDonald building has a separate Construction project occurring throughout the building which includes the 4th floor level, coordination between the successful Bidder and the current Contractor will be required. There will be a site visit on Monday July 31st at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Main Floor lobby, 344 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. All attendees must sign the Security Desk Visitor log and Site Visit Attendance Register prior to the walkthrough. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made. Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid documents through the Government Electronic Tendering (GETS) service provider at http://Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Firms that obtain biddocuments from a source other than the official site run the risk of not receiving a complete package. Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, from the Government of Canada web site, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000.
