The project includes, but is not limited to, the work more fully described in the drawings and specifications. It will include the supply and installation of all products, materials, structures, renovations, accessories and services necessary for and incidental to the completion of all Work for the StonyMountain Lagoon upgrade at Stony Mountain, MB. The Work generally includes: 1. Wastewater treatment system, to meet the future loading demands. 2. Construction of a new storage cell to the east and south of existing storage cells 3 and 4. 3. Raising the dikes of storage cells to construct a new storage cell bisecting the existing storage cells 1, 2, 3 and 4. 4. Construction of a new lagoon spillway and a modified access road. 5. Construction of a landscaped area for the building and fencing around site. 6. Abandonment of existing spillway. 7. Removal existing discharge piping and installation of new intercell piping, effluent piping from aeration cell to sewage treatment building and treated discharge piping. 8. Installation of new gate valves and replacement ofexisting gate valves. 9. Water service piping with curbstop and corpstop and a flushing hydrant. 10. Ditch re-grading and installation of culverts. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on Tuesday,May 16, 2017 at 10:30h CDT. Interested bidders are to meet at intersection of Rushman Road and King Edward Road as shown on Page-2 of the Tender Plans. CSC Security Clearance is NOT REQUIRED for this visit. It is highly recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded fromsubmitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid documents through theGovernment Electronic Tendering (GETS) service provider at http://Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Firms that obtain bid documents from a source other than the official site run the risk of not receiving a complete package.
