CLIP-ON OPTICALLY IMAGE FUSED SIGHTING DEVICE FOR SMALL ARMS

REQUIREMENT

Clip-on optically image fused sighting device for small arms

Required quantity: 1

The Contractor must provide one (1) clip-on optically image fused sighting device meeting the following specifications:

- It must be a device already developed and commercially available;
- It must be an imaging device with one visible imaging sensor and one infrared imaging sensor;
- The visible image must be fused optically with the IR image.

Visible imaging sensor An image intensifier (I2) type sensor of Gen 2/Gen 3, compatible with 18mm tube format
Limiting resolution of I2 sensor At least 68 line pair per mm
Operation mode of I2 sensor Autogating
Figure-of-Merit (FOM) of I2 sensor 2000 or larger
Infrared (IR) imaging sensor Uncooled IR sensor  
Effective F-Number of IR optics 1 or smaller
