    NOTICE:
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    Description
    
    To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) Amundsen, in the Port of Quebec, Quebec (QC), in accordance with the Technical Specifications entitled ; ''CCGS Amundsen - Fall Arrest Protection & Lifting Beams‘’ and all related drawings and other technical documents.
    
    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
    A bidders’ conference (optional) will be held at 101 Champlain Blvd, room AD-1-1R-107, QC, on, March 24th, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. EDST.  An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, February 22nd, 2017.
    
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder attend the Bidders’ Conference in order to review the Scope of the Work required and to receive additional information and clarifications. Bidders are to communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to the conference to confirm attendance.  Bidders that do not attend are not precluded from submitting a bid. 
    
    Bidders are to provide the Contracting Authority with the names of their representatives no later than two days prior to the conference. The Contracting Authority will have an attendance form which is to be signed by the Bidder's representative(s) in attendance.
    
    Bidders are advised that any clarifications or changes resulting from the Bidder’s conference and/or the subsequent viewing of the vessel (if it takes place), shall be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation document.

    There is no viewing of the vessel scheduled for this bid solicitation.
