    NOTICE:
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessels in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    DESCRIPTION:
    To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) A. Leblanc and optional work on (C.C.G.S.) Caporal Kaeble V.C., at Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard Wharf, at 15, du Prince Street, Sorel-Tracy (QC) J3P 4J4, in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Requirement attached as Annex A, and all related drawings and other technical documents.
    
    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
    A bidders’ conference (optional) will be held on board at Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard Wharf, at 15, du Prince Street, Sorel-Tracy (QC) J3P 4J4, on Thursday, November 30th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.  An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, November 28th, 2017.
    
    VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL):
    A visit of the CCGS A. Leblanc will be held immediately after the Bidder’s conference.

    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter 10 Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
