DESCRIPTION: To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) A. Leblanc and optional work on (C.C.G.S.) Caporal Kaeble V.C., at Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard Wharf, at 15, du Prince Street, Sorel-Tracy (QC) J3P 4J4, in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Requirement attached as Annex A, and all related drawings and other technical documents. BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL): A bidders’ conference (optional) will be held on board at Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard Wharf, at 15, du Prince Street, Sorel-Tracy (QC) J3P 4J4, on Thursday, November 30th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, November 28th, 2017. VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL): A visit of the CCGS A. Leblanc will be held immediately after the Bidder’s conference. PARTICULARS OF THE VESSEL: Name: CCGS Corporal Kaeble V.C. and CCGS A. Leblanc Type: Twin Screw, Mid Shore Patrol Vessel Class: Near Coastal Class I Year Built: 2012 (Kaeble) and 2014 (Leblanc) PRINCIPAL DIMENSIONS: Gross Tonnage: 253 tons Net Tonnage: 75 tons Construction: Material Steel Vessel Length: 42.8 m. Vessel Breadth: 7.00 m. Vessel Depth: 3.80 m. Propulsion: Twin screw, Controllable Pitch Propeller, MTU S4000 M93L 12V CCGS A. Leblanc: Start of work: January 11th, 2018 or as per ship’s availability. (At the earlier date.) End of work: March 30th, 2018. Option - CCGS Corporal Kaeble V.C.: Start of work: December 20th, 2018 or as per ship’s availability. (At the earlier date.) End of work: February 6th, 2019. The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter 10 Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
