CAP-AUX-MEULES HARBOUR ENTRANCE CHANNEL DREDGING


Government of Canada moved its Government Electronic Tendering
Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.

Since June 1st 2013, Canada makes available Notices of Proposed
Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for
download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service
(GETS) at Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. 

Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities
whatsoever for the information found on websites of third
parties. 

In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation
would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications.
Canada will post all amendments using GETS. It is the sole
responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the
most up-to-date information. 

Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part
nor for notification services offered by a third party.


PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work consists in dredging the entrance channel to the
principal harbour in Cap-aux-Meules, Îles de la Madeleine, QC.
Based on surveys carried out in may 2014, the volume to be
dredged is approximately 16,000 m3pm. The dredged material shall
be dumped at the further indicated disposal site. One option is
set out in the contract to dispose of a certain quantity of
dredged material on land. Disposal at sea is authorized as of
September 1, 2014 In the event that disposal on land is
requested by the Departmental Representative, the dredging work
and disposal on land may begin between August 1 and 31, 2014.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
1.1 Bidders shall complete the Unit Price Table;
1.2 The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid;
1.3 Bidders shall identify the equipment that will be used to
perform the work;
1.3.1 for canadian made equipment, bidder shall provide the
registry number;
1.3.2 for non-canadian made equipement, bidder shall provide
certificate of qualification issued by Industry Canada ;
1.4 Bidder shall provide a description of the dredge(s) and dump
scows;
1.5 Bibber shall provide the positionning system description.

MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD
CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS - CONSENT T0 A CRIMINAL RECORD
VERIFICATION:

Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a
complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been
received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada
will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide
the information. Failure to comply will render the bid
non-responsive.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly
completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals
aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide
such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result
in the bid being declared non-responsive.

PERIOD OF WORK
The Contractor shall perform and complete between August 4 and
October 31 2014.

BUDGET
The budget, for this project, is between 1 000 001 $ and 5 000
000 $
