IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Government of Canada moved its Government Electronic Tendering Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.

Since June 1st 2013, Canada makes available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. 

Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. 

In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information. 

Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work consists of dredging various fishing harbors on the North Shore, Province of Quebec (Baie-Comeau, Baie-Trinité, Rivière-au-Tonnerre, Mingan, Havre-Saint-Pierre).
The volume to be dredged is approximately 18,000 m3 measured in place.
Dredging could be done by mechanical equipment (excavator barge) or by pumping.
The Contractor may be required to carry out the work according to one or the other, or a combination of the two methods mentioned above.
As an indication, the material to be dredged consist mainly of sand to different sites withthe possibility of gravel.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
- The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid
- The Bidder shall complete and provide the Combined price table
- The Bidder shall complete and provide the floating plant description
- The Bidder shall complete and provide a certificate of qualification for the equipment that are not of Canadian built
- The Bidder shall complete and provide positioning system description

MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD
- The Bidder must provide the listing of subcontractors
- Integrity provisions:
Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to comply will render the bid non-responsive.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

PERIOD OF WORK
Work may begin from the contract award and shall be completed by March 31, 2017.
