Trade Agreement: Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Business (SPAB) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: WORKS AT THE FISHERMEN'S WHARF Mingan (Quebec) SET-ASIDE FOR ABORIGINAL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT This procurement has been set aside under the federal government's Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB). In order to be considered, a supplier must certify that it qualifies as an Aboriginal business as defined under PSAB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSAB. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to perform the works at the fishermen's wharf of Mingan, Province of Quebec. Work of this Contract includes, but not limited to: 1) Existing concrete demolition. 2) Dismantling of bollards, cleats, service stations, lighting poles, timbers, ladders and electrical elements. 3) Steel pile driving. 4) Construction of steel form, concrete beams and slab system. 5) Wharf equipment: relocation of bollards, cleats, wood fenders, ladders, lighting poles and services stations. 6) Wharf lighting and water distribution. MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE 1) The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid. MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD 1) SET-ASIDE FOR ABORIGINAL BUSSINESS CERTIFICATION Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly after the solicitation closing date the Aboriginal Business Certification included in the solicitation document. 2) INTEGRITY PROVISIONS: Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directorsof the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide the names within the time-frame specified will render the bid non-responsive. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals mentioned above within a specified time frame. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time frame provided, or failure to cooperate to the verification process will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. PERIOD OF WORK The works shall be completed on or before June 30, 2017. BID RECEIVING Sealed tenders will be received in English or French at the address mentioned in the upper left corner of the first page of the Solicitation document.
