TITLE: MULTIDISCIPLINARY SITE DEVELOPMENT (ENGINEERING AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE), QUEBEC REGION

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS REFERENCE BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

DESCRIPTION

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to issue standing offers for services required by the Real Property Branch of PWGSC in the Quebec region, at the offices of the city of Montreal and Quebec. Consulting firms with multidisciplinary expertise combining expertise in engineering and landscape architecture in the field of site development are invited to submit offers.

Site development services include, but are not limited to, repairs or new construction whose design incorporates eco-responsible principles to improve environmental performance and quality of life for users;

a)  In urban areas: outdoor installations around buildings and for parks or public places. (Services and recreation infrastructure, connecting road, parking, street furniture, outdoor lighting, physical protection measures, integration of public art, vegetation management)
b) In a protected natural environment: Service and recreation infrastructure: (outdoor trail networks, parking, infrastructure in remote areas such as culvert, footbridge, staircase and signage)
c) Ecological design: Ecosystem development (restoration or development of wildlife and   habitats), Ecological development of sites (green roofs, rainwater management plan, water-saving landscaping, low-impact parking, measurement of control of heat islands, permeable coating,green roof,  maintenance of biodiversity)
d) Rehabilitation of industrial and degraded land (contaminated sites, banks and slopes including climate resilience approaches based on nature)

CONTRAT PERIOD

It is Public Works and Governmental Services Canada intention to authorize three (3) Standing Offers for a period of three (3) years with an option available to the Crown to extend the Standing Offers for two (2) additional one (1) year period. The total dollar value of the Standing Offer is estimated to be $5,000,000.00 (GST/QST Included). Proponents should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the Standing Offer will be called-up; PWGSC will award call-ups only when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

There is no security requirement applicable to this Agreement.

CERTIFICATIONS

Bidders must provide a list of names, or other related information as needed, pursuant to Annexe a of the request for standing offer.
