TITLE: REMOVAL OF CONCRETE STRUCTURES (RICHELIEU RIVER - LACOLLE, QC)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Following a bathymetric survey conducted in the summer of 2019 and an underwater inspection conducted in the fall of 2019, approximately 40 defined blocks and more than 40 undefined structures were observed on the bottom of the Richelieu River in the Lacolle sector. Previously, Transport Canada allowed marina owners to build mooring areas with mooring booms roughly 300m from the customs wharf in the former municipality of Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel in Lacolle. These structures have not been in use for many years, and have become obstacles to navigation. This project involves removing and disposing of these concrete blocks.

The site is located in the town of Lacolle, in the RCM of Haut-Richelieu, Quebec. 

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE

The Bidder must enclose bid security with its bid.

PERIOD OF WORK

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within 14 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
