Trade Agreement: NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: TITLE: SNOW CLEARANCE SERVICE - PORT OF RIMOUSKI IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS Government of Canada moved its Government Electronic Tendering Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Since June 1st 2013, Canada makes available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information. Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party. SECURITY REQUIREMENT This request does not contain a security requirement. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work consist in, but is not limited to, the removal of snow and spreading of non toxic biodegradable salt, or sand and calcium, when salt is not efficient, on all icy and slippery surfaces describe in Annex A - drawing and specifications. The work must be executed when snow reaches 5 cm, at all times and as of November 1. MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE - The contractor must have completed at least one contract of a similar scope in the same field (snow removal). Similar scope means a contract worth at least $30 000.00 for one season. - The Contractor must be in possession of and keep in good working condition any heavy equipment required to perform the work, in accordance with the specification at Annex A and Annex B of the invitation to tender. MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD - CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS - CONSENT T0 A CRIMINAL RECORD VERIFICATION: Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to comply will render the bid non-responsive. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. PERIOD OF CONTRACT The period of the Contract is from November 1st, 2015 to October 31, 2016 inclusive with two (2) years in option. PERIOD OF WORK The work shall be executed from November 1 to April 30 of each year.
