This amendment 002 is raised to make the following changes to the Request for Proposal:

1)  Extend the bid closing date 
2)  Modify the Contracting Authority’s email 
3)  Modify the Statement of Requirement to change Section 3.1.12:

This amendment 001 is raised to provide questions with answers to potential bidders as follows:

At Annex A, Page 4 of 7, Section 3.1.12: 
 
3.          MANDATORY PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS
3.1.12   The dimensions of the radio with the rechargeable battery attached must not exceed: 62mm  wide X 150mm high X 40mm deep. The dimensions stated donot include the antenna; 

Question 1: Would CBSA consider increasing the depth requirement to from 40mm to 50mm?
 
Response 1: Size and weight of radios have been of great concern to officers due to the number of tools on their belt.  It is therefore crucial that the upcoming radios provided to officers are kept within the specifications stated in the Statement of Requirement.

All other terms and conditions remain the same.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has a requirement to procure two-way portable radios and accessories. 

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

Biddersmay request a debriefing on the results of thebid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
