Nature of Requirements: 
The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is seeking availability
information from industry for a Radiofrequency Interdiction
Technology solution.

OBJECTIVES:
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to
communicate CSC requirements and invite industry experts and
potential suppliers of relevant products and services to provide
input as to potential solutions and approaches to meet CSC's
requirement or to re-align CSC's expectations with industry
capability, experience, and direction. The information may be
used to support the Government of Canada's decision-making
process.
CSC has decided that the issuance of a Request for Information
(RFI) to the industry, in order to elicit the expert opinions of
private sector organizations specializing in the development
and/or provision of relevant solutions. To invite industry
experts and potential suppliers to share their insights on any
potential improvements to CSC's planned approach toward the
prevention of illicit RF communications.
This is not a bid solicitation and no Contract will result
directly from this RFI.  As a result, potential suppliers of any
goods or services described in this RFI should neither reserve
stock or facilities, nor allocate resources, as a result of any
information contained in this RFI.  Nor will this RFI result in
the creation of any source list or pre-qualification. 
Therefore, whether or not any potential supplier responds to
this RFI will not preclude that supplier from participating in
any future procurement.
Partial responses will be acceptable.

All enquiries and other communications related to this LOI shall
be directly exclusively to the PWGSC Contracting Authority.
