    The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Canadian Coast
    Guard (CCG)  has a requirement for a National Individual
    Standing Offer (NISO) on an "as and when" requested basis for
    the supply of self locating datum marker buoys in accordance
    with the mandatory specifications detailed in the Request For
    Standing Offer. 
    
    The delivery points are St John's (Newfoundland), Dartmouth
    (Nova Scotia), Quebec (Quebec), Sarnia (Ontario) and Victoria
    (British Columbia).  Delivery is Delivery at Destination - DDP
    Delivered Duty Paid, Incoterms 2010.
    
    The period of the Standing Offer is from the Date of Standing
    Offer to March 31, 2015.  The NISO will include an option to
    extend the period for up to three (3) additional one (1) year
    periods.
    
    Offerors shall indicate the currency being used in their offer. 
    Should the currency not be indicated, it will be assumed that it
    is Canadian.
    
    Offers submitted in foreign currency will be converted to
    Canadian currency for evaluation purposes.  
    
    The nominal noon exchange rate given by the Bank of Canada in
    effect on the solicitation closing date, or on another date
    specified in the solicitation, will be applied as a conversion
    factor to the	bids submitted in foreign currency.
    
    All offers must be completed in full and provide all of the
    information requested in the Request for Standing Offer to
    enable full and complete evaluation.
    
    Offerors must demonstrate that they meet the mandatory
    requirements as detailed in this Request for Standing Offer and
    the mandatory technical criteria as detailed in Annexes "A" and
    "B".
    
    Bids will be evaluated for their compliance with all mandatory
    technical criteria.
    
    The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is
    from the Date of Standing Offer to March 31, 2015.
    
    The Offeror agrees to provide self locating datum marker buoys
    meeting the mandatory requirements in Annexes "A" and "B" on an
    as and when requested basis.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
